The 'Backstage Crew'

Remember when you were this little kid performing a song/dance/elocution for the first time on the stage. The crowd in front of you was so huge and loud that it terrified 'the little you'. But somehow you did it. Because there were these handful of people perhaps in the backstage or behind the curtains or in the front row of the audience, to support you no matter what. They were there to help, to mouth the words when you forgot the next line of the song, to lift you up when you fell down in the middle of the dance, to show you the next dance move through gestures and actions, to set the stage and make sure that you are in the spot light. It was not just you performing, but they too did it all along. And slowly you forgot the crowd, you only saw him/her, doing these weird gestures with you. Thereupon, it was not a performance on stage, it was just a game to play. As simple as that.

They made everything so easy; from overcoming that stage-fear to making the most difficult choices of life. They saw our potentials before we did. This world that constantly judge us for all things; big and small, is a hard place to live. So they became our armor and promised us a safe haven. They live for our happiness. With them there is no room for drama, we can be ourselves, in the most raw and genuine way. All this time, the limelight was upon us. So now let's just align it towards them for sometime. Because to have someone who is compassionate enough to brace our spirit is certainly a blessing. Let's never forget their kindness. .

~To my 'backstage crew' .

#To achan and amma (they have been the kindest to me).
#To my sister (the best I've got! Thanks for never judging and always supporting my thoughts and actions, we know each other like no one else does).
#To broi (together we laughed, together we cried, 'together' is a nice place to be).
#To friends who stayed.
#To kind-hearted teachers.
#To all selfless souls I met along the way.
